Description
On this off-road Jeep safari excursion, visit sites that only locals are aware of. With the help of a knowledgeable driver and guide, you’ll get the chance to visit undiscovered sites like the village of Kassandrino, a prehistoric volcanic lake called Agia Paraskevi, and enjoy a sumptuous meal at a family-run tavern.
- Meet your guide in front of your hotel (the exact pickup time depends on the location of your hotel) to begin your adventure-filled day. Before you embark on your adventure, your guide will present you with the schedule for the day.
- Visit one of the region’s oldest temples by stopping at the ancient village of Kassandrino. As you sample the village’s regional fare, learn about its history.
- On your way to a historic volcanic lake, start your off-road adventure. Observe stunning turtles swimming and bathing in its waters.
- Go up to Kassandra’s highest point by continuing. The three Peninsulas can be seen simultaneously from here, along with some North Aegean islands.
- To reach the volcanic region of Agia Paraskevi on the south side of Kassandra, take an unmarked path through a pine forest. Climb down to the West Coast, where you may take in your last meal in a family-run taverna restaurant and enjoy true Greek delicacies with a view of the lovely ocean (the meal is not included in the price).
Take a leisurely drive back to your starting point along the West Coast.
